Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Roadfreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Egham area.
Role Description
The Road Freight Operator will manage day-to-day road freight operations, including arranging imports and exports, booking transport, and coordinating collections and deliveries with carriers, clients, and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and checking documentation
- Monitoring shipments
- Customs entries
- Resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and service standards
- Maintaining clear communication with customers, providing updates, handling queries and service issues
- Supporting the sales and operations teams with quotations and rate requests
- Update internal systems accurately
Qualifications
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to manage queries, resolve issues, and build long-term client relationships
