Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Roadfreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Thorpe, Surrey area.

Job Description:-

  • Ensure work is undertaken and actioned from start to finish on all GB/EU Road bookings, Import, Export, Crosstrade, Domestic, Courier shipments
  • Provide High level of Customer service and ensure client specific requirements are met
  • Communicate with hauliers on a daily basis
  • Communicate with Foreign partners / Suppliers on a daily basis
  • Communicate with our Sales department and alternate offices when required.
  • Create Transport, collection and delivery notes.
  • Implementing Insurance cover when requested.
  • Create Packing Lists when requested
  • Quoting clients depending on service
  • Invoicing
  • Assist with queries, claims and other general enquiries
  • Data and POD entry
  • Ensure all appropriate shipping documentation is obtained for clearance processes to be arranged for a timely and accurate crossing over the channels.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 0800-1630
