Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Logistics Operator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area.
Duties:
- Prepare manual or scanned entry packing lists.
- Prepare orders for dispatch.
- Prepare weekly stock checks.
- Ensure all orders are ordered and booked accurately.
- Accountable for looking after customer’s specific requirements.
- Produce and send packing lists to customers.
- Ensure customer record reporting is kept up to date at all times and effective customer communication is maintained.
- Arrange deliveries for storage accounts.
- Create monthly invoices for storage accounts.
- Record stock locations and work closely with Warehouse Assistants to ensure goods are correctly located.
- Manage Key Accounts where required.
- Propose new ideas to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
