Job Description
Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Junior Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.
Main Responsibilities:-
To ensure that all export shipments are collected by the correct vehicle, the documentation is in order and they are exported to the client’s satisfaction
To ensure that customs entries are completed correctly using the correct CPC code and all relevant Export Documents are saved to the correct file
Completing quotations for new and existing clients
To send the flight details and relevant information to the client by email and to ensure the foreign agent is pre- alerted with full details
Liaise with foreign agents when required to ensure delivery has been achieved
To ensure computer system is fully completed with all combined documents saved to the job and correct airline, foreign charges and client costs are accrued
To undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager
Skills:-
- Strong organisational skills; ability to prioritise & organise own workload to meet tight deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and process orientated
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work with data
- Strong communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work independently but also be a team player across all departments

Hours are Monday – Friday – after 6 month you will then be added to the shift rota working 08:00 – 16:30 and also 1 weekend in 7 where you will be monitoring emails from your company mobile phone assisting with client and agent requests).
