Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import / Export Operations Manager who has experience with dealing with Air, Road and Seafreight shipments. The company are a well-established privatley owned Freight Forwarder based in the Slough, Berkshire area. About the role:- We need an experienced Imports and Exports Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Freight Forwarding, customs regulations, and international trade, along with excellent organisational and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:- • Import and Export Operations (Start to Finish) • Manage small department (2 / 3 staff) • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import and export process, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders. • Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import/export declarations, permits, licenses, and certificates of origin.
