Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Trainee for an excellent Freight Forwarder based in the Bridgend area.
The Role:
- This varied role will involve you in both import and exports to and from all parts of the world.
- To provide general administration across all departments, using computer systems to input jobs and initiate documentation relating to freight movements and handle customer orders and queries.
- To undertake any relevant training programmes or courses relating to the role.
- To offer a high standard of customer care to both internal and external customers, by providing accurate and appropriate information and demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner.
- To demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of areas where trained and be capable of providing information and advice to customers where necessary.
- To deal with any communication into and out of the department in a customer focused, professional manner.
- To build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company. You will build close working relationships with customers, overseas partners as well as internal teams so good communication skills are key in this role.

For this trainee opportunity, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- No previous experience in an airfreight environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong work ethic and desire to continually learn and improve.
- Positive and helpful attitude.
