Responsibilities

  • Working with the China export team closely.
  • Ensure that all relevant emails, documents and information are uploaded/added into Boxtop, including copies of all export documentation and relevant emails for future audits.
  • Arrange collection of any U.K. shipments for export to China and Nigeria through a designated haulier/courier company, ensuring all correct documentation is in place.
  • Keep warehouse aware of any direct deliveries from UK suppliers/courier or any other 3rd party.
  • Handling transhipments for Nigeria.
  • Issue export entries correctly using CDS/Sequoia.
  • Ensure all shipments are exported/completed correctly and in a timely manner once the shipment has arrived at the designated handling warehouse.
  • Assist, mentor and train other staff members in exports and procedures.
  • Ensure invoicing requirements are met, issued correctly and in a timely manner, working compliantly with AEO and compliance procedures.
  • Ensure in-house training is up to date.
