Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Cross Border Administrator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Slough, Berkshire area.
Job Role: Reporting to and partnering with Cross Border Manager and the team, you will support an international department to ensure robust customer services is achieved in line with the strategic direction of the department.
Duties:
- Invoicing administration
- Updating files with time of departure of shipments
- Responsible for duty invoicing for clients' shipments
- Sending invoices
- Monitoring creditors accruals
- Keeping all client rates up to date
- Ensuring that invoicing is done in line with KPI's
- Administration regarding tracking of shipments
- Booking of courier shipments when required
- Creation and completion of tracking sheets where required
- Creation of CMR documentation where required
Experience/ Technical Abilities:
- Experience working with or in the logistics sector (advantage)
- Competent in MS Office
- Experience in working in accounts department
- Understanding of account procedures for debits and credits
- Excellent communication in English (verbal and written)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Some weekend work required)
