Freightserve recruitment are looking for Operations Technicians for a well-established niche sector Freight Forwarder that specialises within Fine Arts. The company is based in the Ashford, Middlesex area.
Key Responsibilities
- Interior designer installations.
- Handling high-value furniture, artwork and decorative items.
- Export packing to museum and international shipping standards.
- Condition reporting.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Working across both warehouse and road operations.
- Representing The Company professionally when working directly with their clients.
- The ability to work calmly and effectively as part of a team.
- White glove collections and deliveries.
- A full UK driving licence (Preferred).
- The role involves regular travel throughout the UK and occasional overseas travel.
Required experience:
- Experience within fine art, luxury interiors, specialist removals, museum logistics or a similar sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and a professional manner.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Overtime Rate:
- Monday to Friday: 1.25x hourly rate
- Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: 2.0x hourly rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00
