Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Air Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.
Job role:
- Be able to complete a job start to finish
- Contact shippers.
- Arrange collections.
- Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements i.e. operator variations, Promo references etc.
- Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
- Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes (IPR, BONDED, EXPORT LICENCING etc).
- Provide quotations & understand market rates.
- High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure etc.
Working hours: Monday - Friday (0900-1730hrs).
