Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Air Export Clerk for a privately owned Freight Forwarder based in the Staines-upon-Thames area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cutting AWB’s.
  • Customs entries (Sequoia).
  • Dealing with customers.
  • Liaising with Warehouse Staff to ensure shipments are processed correctly.
  • Preparing flight manifests/folders ready for Exports.
  • Liaising with airlines to book space for airfreight (if required).
  • Monitoring delivery status and tracking movements of shipments.
  • Pre-alerting flights / Post flights.

Details / Requirements:

  • Rotating shifts (7am-4pm, 9am-6pm & 10am-7pm) Mon-Fri.
  • 1 weekend every 4 weeks (4 hours or until finished).
  • 3 Years minimum experience.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Polite phone manner.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Must be PC literate and proficient in Word & Teams with good Excel skills.
  • 5 year background check + Criminal record check required.
  • Training to Cargo Operative (CO) level will be provided.
  • Must have Driving Licence and Own Transport due to Location (no easy access to public transport).
