Freightserve recruitment are looking for Transport Fleet Manager for a Freight Forwarder. The company are based in The Colnbrook, Berkshire area. Job Description:- * Reduce operating costs in all areas without compromising service. * Overseeing Fleet of vehicles * Managing all staff (Clerical and Drivers) and delegating duties * Improve service delivery without increasing costs. * Combine daily close communication with processing facilities and use of company systems to provide inbound alerts. * Design and distribute new SOPs as required and keep catalogue up to date. * Train staff on new systems and in new processes. * Work closely with warehouse and operations department. * Work closely with Finance and Commercial departments to monitor collection costs.. * Use data to monitor and plan linehaul. * Make advancements to existing reports, and design new ones for distribution to stakeholders. * Liaise with collection partners to ensure successful in-flow of material to hubs. * Obtain quotes for and implement new collections, keep collection log up to date, and build routes where possible to save cost. * Pre-alert hubs of inbound returns and assist with sortation and consolidation, and arrange repatriation once consolidated. * Manage transport fleet and drivers Skills required for the role:- * Previous experience within a similar role * Experience within a supervisory / management role * Good understanding of current transp…
