Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Seafreight Operator for a wide world Freight Forwarder based in the Feltham, Middlesex area.
Job Role:
The role is extremely varied, and you will become a key member of an operations team, actively involved in managing export seafreight shipments from start to finish. You will be hands on with every aspect of the export seafreight forwarding process, ensuring the customer receives the highest level of service, and receives their goods safely and on-time.
Duties:
- Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate export seafreight with end to end responsibility (including collections, bookings, liaising with overseas offices/customers).
- Seafreight booking and processing relevant documentation including BOLs.
- Liaising effectively and building close relationships with our supply chain.
- Quotations.
- Invoicing clients.
- Strong ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating efficiently to the highest level via e-mail and telephone.
Required Experience:
- Experience in Oceanfreight.
- Customer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail-oriented.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm.
