Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Trainee Airfreight Export Clerk for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Feltham, Middlesex area. This role will involve being trained on all aspects of Airfreight Export Operations. The candidate will be required to assist the air export team in providing excellent customer service, whilst helping keep all department operations, administration billing and costing up to date. This role will also involve a variety of administration duties including keeping the department filing up to date.
Duties:
- To take ownership and keep up to date all department filing.
- To complete daily post flights and relay any delays to the required air export operator. Any delays will also need to be queried with carrier.
- To assist the air export team with arranging collections.
- To complete the daily export warehouse manifest.
- To complete the warehouse Air Export delivery list.
- Will be trained to complete customs entries.
- Eventually having their own routings to arrange from start to finish.
- To help take external telephone calls.
Working hours are Monday - Friday.
