Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Seafreight person for an excellent Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Duties:

  • Manage end-to-end Export processes for sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Managing several Key Accounts to facilitate the clients' Sea Freight Export Movements.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, carriers, and agents to secure bookings and negotiate freight rates.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and other government agencies' requirements.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle shipment discrepancies and resolve any issues related to customs clearance or delivery delays.
  • Must be able to complete Sea Freight Entries.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and distribution teams to optimise logistics and inventory management.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in Seafreight Exports.
  • Customs clearances.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
