Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Import Seafreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Duties:

  • Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate Import seafreight with end to end responsibility
  • Seafreight booking and processing relevant documentation including BOL’s
  • Customs entries
  • Dealing with FCL / LCL shipments
  • Liaising effectively and building close relationships with customers
  • Quotations
  • Invoicing clients
  • Key Account management
  • Strong ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating efficiently to the highest level via e-mail and telephone

Required Experience:

  • Experience in Import Oceanfreight
  • Customer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail orientated

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm.
