Freightserve are looking to recruit Freight Drivers for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Slough, Berkshire area.
Looking for experienced drivers, with a clean driving license, flexible in availability and experienced in driving a LWB Sprinter and Luton vehicles in London, Heathrow Airport and into Europe.
Your Role:
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and freight to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs according to schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Checking labels and manifests.
- Loading and offloading items from the vans.
- Planning routes and using own initiative.
- Track hours and expenses.
- Maintain & clean vehicles.
What You Need:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record and background check.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25-30 KGS.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of local routes and GPS navigation.
- Experience driving freight, this is not a multi drop parcel service.
