Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Forwarder for a large Freight company based in the Bristol area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and follow up on branch quotations promptly, ensuring accuracy and maximising shipment profitability.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to both internal and external clients, offering accurate information and maintaining a professional and helpful approach.
  • Support the branch in achieving revenue targets by demonstrating strong commercial awareness within the airfreight sector.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and offer expert advice to key accounts and other customers to optimise profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the company.
  • Ensure all activities comply with policies and procedures.
  • Provide operational support across departments, including job input into systems, initiating freight documentation, and handling customer bookings and queries.
  • Resolve operational challenges such as delays, capacity issues, and documentation discrepancies.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in airfreight operations.
  • Strong understanding of international airfreight regulations, pricing structures, import and logistics processes.
  • In addition, you’ll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
