Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Air Export Operator for a well-established growing Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook, Berkshire.

Duties:

  • Contact shippers.
  • Arrange collections.
  • Complete MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements i.e. operator variations, Promo references etc.
  • Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
  • Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes (IPR, BONDED, EXPORT LICENCING etc).
  • Provide quotations & understand market rates.
  • High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure etc.
  • Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO (Cargo Operative).
  • Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
  • Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response.
  • You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.

Required Experience:

  • Export Airfreight experience
  • Customs knowledge
  • Full 5 year work reference history
