Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Freight Forwarder who have experienced with mainly Air Exports for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the West Drayton area.
Job Description:-
Working with general cargo and time sensitive shipments, the role is working in a fast-moving Freight department.
The role is dealing with shipments from start to finish including; customs entries, bookings and negotiating rates with airlines / GSA's. The successful person must be a strong communicator, delivering exceptional customer services at all times.
Daily Duties:-
- Preparing all documentation including; MAWB's and HAWB's
- Customs entries
- Managed time-critical AOG shipments
- Customer Services (highest level)
- Some out-of-hours work (on call roster)
- Dealing with Airline and Handling Agents
- Liaising with Transporters
Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730 plus working on a on call roster
