Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Trainee Roadfreight Coordinator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area. About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in freight forwarding and European road freight. Key Responsibilities Co-ordinating European road freight imports and exports from booking through to final delivery. Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas agents and suppliers to arrange collections, deliveries, and customs clearance. Preparing and checking shipping and transport documentation. Tracking shipments and proactively dealing with delays or issues, ensuring that customers are updated accordingly and in a timely manner. Assisting with, and learning how to complete, customs and transport documentation. Checking supplier and shipping invoices for accuracy. Assisting with quotations where required. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files are completed correctly and entered on internal systems.
