Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Supervisor who has experience within Air, Sea and Roadfreight.

The company are a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Sunbury-Upon-Thames area.

  • Job Requirements:-
  • Experience dealing and supervising a small team of people.
  • Maintaining and ensuring all relating mailboxes within the department are kept up to date.
  • Ensuring all mail in answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete and in depth understanding of our software platform in this case Multifreight SCS and Multished
  • Ensuring any given Job within Multifreight complies with the ISO requirements and relating ISO Flow Charts
  • To ensure timely Invoicing of Files – This includes chasing up of other departments who may be rating up a specific job/s.
  • In conjunction with the Invoicing, to ensure each and every file at time of Invoicing has a full set of accurate costs processed in line with the company’s month end practices.
  • Ensuring stock levels of MAWB’s are readily available and updated and ensuring stock levels of the labels for the MAWB / HAWB printer are sufficient.
  • Proficient in the CDS programme so submissions are carried out as and when needed, again in a timely and compliant manner.

In addition to this, knowing where to go and who to ask in the event of a possible bespoke, unusual, not standard Export procedures being requested.

  • Ability to mitigate routing delays, port congestion, and some supply chain bottlenecks as and when they occur.
  • Looking at ways on a daily basis, file to file, to maximise department profitability
  • Good communicator, easily holding discussions Beit by Telephone, Teams, Face to Face with overseas agents, handling agents, shippers, and consignees.
  • A good Motivator who knows how to get the best out of the team.
