Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Export Coordinator for a worldwide Freight Forwarder based in Slough area.
Duties:-
- Support the Airfreight Operations team in ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and customer requirements are met.
- Arrange and monitor airfreight import and export shipments, ensuring pharmaceutical and healthcare products are transported in accordance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
- Prepare, process, and verify all operational documentation, including Air Waybills (AWB), customs entries, DUCRs, MUCRs, and associated shipping documentation.
- Complete HM Customs entry procedures and ensure customs compliance requirements are met, including the timely closure of MUCRs where applicable.
- Monitor and manage the Operations mailbox, ensuring all enquiries are responded to within agreed service levels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment files and records in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements.
- Support HMRC and Border Force audit requirements by ensuring all operational documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries, discrepancies, and operational issues within agreed timeframes.
- Escalate operational exceptions, service failures, and customer issues to the Operations Manager where appropriate.
- Identify operational risks, service concerns, and improvement opportunities and communicate these to management.
- Ensure full adherence to established operational procedures, quality standards, GDP requirements, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.
- Liaise with customers, overseas partners, carriers, handling agents, and suppliers on a day-to-day basis regarding shipment movements and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Company's partners, carriers, and overseas agents to support operational excellence.
- Ensure accurate operational and financial data is entered into system.
- Support Sales and Product teams by providing operational guidance and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Perform cost reconciliation activities and ensure supplier costs are accurately recorded and allocated.
- Assist with accruals and cost validation processes to ensure financial accuracy.
- Ensure shipment milestones, documentation processing, and system updates are completed within agreed KPI timeframes.
- Maintain the integrity and compliance of temperature-controlled and time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments throughout the transportation process.
- Ensure all customer-specific requirements, quality standards, and agreed service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.
