Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk to work a permanent late shift (M-F 3.30pm - Midnight) for a fast growing Freight / Courier company based in the Heathrow area.
Key Responsibilities
- Process export documentation, MAWB, HAWBS, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines and transport companies .
- Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
- Assist in resolving any customs-related issues.
- Work closely with internal departments to coordinate export processes efficiently.
- Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an export role, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
- Experience using customs entry systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 00.00 – Can be flexible to the right candidate.
