Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Supervisor for a fast growing Freight / Courier company based in the Heathrow area.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for overseeing export operations and airline liaison while providing leadership and support to small team of clerks.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in export logistics, airline management and allocations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of three Clerks, ensuring all daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Act as the senior point of contact within the department Audit and check the work completed by the Clerks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company procedures.
Process export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs, commercial invoices, customs declarations, and all associated export paperwork.
Airline management and allocation booking Ensure all export shipments comply with UK customs regulations and international trade requirements.
Complete customs entries using the CDS customs entry system.
Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and customs authorities to ensure shipments move efficiently.
