Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Customs Compliance Clerk for a busy well-established niche Freight Forwarder based in the NW10 area.
Key Responsibilities of a Customs Clerk
Complete import customs declarations.
Ensure all customs entries comply with HMRC regulations and current customs legislation.
Liaise with customers, hauliers, customs authorities and internal teams to resolve customs-related queries.
Monitor customs entries.
Maintain accurate customs records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
Provide customers with updates regarding shipment and customs clearance status.
Experience Required:-
Previous experience completing customs entries.
Good understanding of HMRC customs procedures.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good IT skills and experience using customs or freight forwarding systems.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
