Shift Pattern: 45 hours per week

Salary: £33,303.00 - £35,643.00

Rate: £13.95 (£17.81 Overtime) or Non-ADR £12.95 (£16.51 Overtime)

ADR qualification: preferred but not essential – fully funded training to upskill available

The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:

  • Multi drop deliveries and collections within set geographical areas
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers as the face of Freightroute
  • Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security and positive load fit
  • Completing daily vehicle checks on your Company device
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team providing updates on progress aiding management of customer expectations
  • Maintaining the highest professional driving and legal standards

Role Requirements:

  • UK Class 1 – Category CE Driving Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible and self-motivated
