Responsibilities of the Class 2 Day Driver position include:
- Multi drop deliveries and collections within set geographical areas
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers as the face of Freightroute
- Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security and proper fit
- Completing daily vehicle checks using your Company device
- Providing regular updates to the transport team to aid customer expectation management
- Maintaining high professional driving and legal standards
Role Requirements:
- UK Class 2 – Category C Driving Licence
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Passion for excellent customer service
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Must be fit, flexible, and self-motivated due to role demands
