The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves:
- Multi drop deliveries and collections within set geographical areas
- Building and maintaining relationships with our customers as the face of Freightroute
- Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security and positive load fit
- Completing daily vehicle checks on your Company device
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team providing updates on progress aiding management of customer expectations
- Maintaining the highest professional driving and legal standards
Role Requirements:
- UK Class 2 Category C Driving Licence
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible and self-motivated.
