Freightliner has operations across Europe offering both Intermodal and Heavy Haul rail freight services seamlessly connecting European countries and the UK. In the UK the Freightliner Group operates under a number of legal entities including Freightliner Group Ltd, Freightliner Heavy Haul Ltd, Freightliner Ltd, Pentalver Transport Ltd, and Pentalver Cannock Ltd.
What Will Be Your Responsibilities
- Adhere to health & safety and local safety policy requirements, and other safety and technical standards
- Ensure Freightliner company engineering standards and procedures are applied and followed
- Maintain, service, and repair wagons in accordance with approved maintenance plans
- Ensure all relevant paperwork for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment

Hours: The contractual basic hours for this role is 39 hours per week. Manchester VMF operates a 2âweek rotating shift pattern which provides flexibility and work/life balance.
Week 1: MondayâThursday 0600â1430, with a 1330 finish time on Friday.
Week 2: MondayâThursday 1400â2230, Friday 1030â1800.
