Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week (1 hour paid lunch break).

As a Terminal Coordinator you will be responsible for dealing with customer service requests, including but not limited to depot related queries, all M&R related admin, cargo admin and planning, shunt planning and delivery, bonded storage requests.

Key responsibilities

  • Handling all customer queries, including communications with shipping lines and hauliers.
  • Preparing reports for customers detailing cargo handling reports and photos.
  • Input shunt details into TOPS.
  • Scheduling workloads and container moves for Cargo Handling, Shunt drivers and Maintenance and Repair.
  • Plan & issue shunts to ensure all containers moved within relevant time frames.
  • Controlling internal tug access within the Gate Management System / VBS for both Freightliner and external bodies ensuring all shunts are completed as per plan.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within shipping lines, port operations, haulage and /or container handling operations.
  • Knowledge of TOPS beneficial.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong team player.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
  • Ideally have the knowledge of container ISO standards.
