UK Operations
The Freightliner Group operates under several legal entities, including Freightliner Group Ltd, Freightliner Heavy Haul Ltd, Freightliner Ltd, Pentalver Transport Ltd, and Pentalver Cannock Ltd.
Job Responsibilities
- Undertake all roadworthy checks of Vehicles and Trailers.
- Ensure vehicles are driven with due care and attention when in the Terminal or on the Public Highway, aiming for maximum efficiency through correct driving.
- Ensure the safety of the load and vehicle at all times, meeting security/safety requirements when parked off-site.
- Promptly collect and deliver containers to designated points.
- Submit all relevant details regarding damage to company or customer property, or accidents involving the public, in accordance with the Drivers Rulebook.
- Manage all collection and delivery documentation.
- Maintain and record tachograph discs and other logs as required by legal and company standards.
- Keep assigned vehicle clean, tidy, and odour-free.
- Occasional overnight stays may be required, with a Night Out allowance provided.
