The role
With a new state of art infrastructure and recent investment in VBS and technology we are looking for the right individual to support our Operations team in London Gateway. As a Shunter Driver you will be responsible for shunting containers in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities
- Transport / Shunt containers within the port area in a safe and efficient manner.
- Drive Terberg Yard Tug to a high standard.
- Perform pre use inspection of yard tug and trailer to ensure safe operation.
- Follow safe operating procedures at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain regular contact with the Shunt Planning team.
About you
- Holder of full UK driving licence
- Deep understanding of the importance of health and safety and be committed to always upholding a safe approach to all tasks.
- Flexibility with working hours
- Mature approach to health and safety
- Passion for delivering customer service to the highest standard
It\βs great, but not required, if you:
- Have LGV / HGV driving experience
- Have previous shunting experience.
