This role involves regular standing, manual handling, and working outdoor in varying weather conditions.**Key responsibilities:*** Steam cleaning containers to customers’ specification and to schedule.* Maintain accurate log of those containers cleaned and update office staff accordingly.* Ensure that yard is kept clean and tidy.* Ensure all paperwork is correct and job sheets are completed.* Understand requirements and communicate accurate information on time as required.* Maintain high standards of good housekeeping* Maintain health and safety standards**About you*** Team player* Deep understanding of the importance of health and safety and be committed to always upholding a safe approach to all tasks.* Attention to detail* Ability to accurately record information**It’s great, but not required, if you:*** Have previous experience of working with container* Have previous steam cleaning experienceFreightliner is the UK\’s largest maritime intermodal logistics operator, transporting containers from all major deep-sea ports to our national network of inland terminals, as well as a leading operator in the UK Heavy Haul rail freight market.
