Freightliner has operations across Europe offering both Intermodal and Heavy Haul rail freight services seamlessly connecting European countries and the UK.
To supervise all terminal operations including non-traditional Freightliner duties on a shift-by-shift basis ensuring that safe, efficient and cost effective working is achieved and that the Quality of Service to the customer is of the highest order.
- Supervise and Mentor all Operations Staff in the performance of their duties ensuring any training needs are highlighted.
- Ensure all Terminal and Rail operations are carried out in compliance with Freightliner standards and policies, in addition to relevant legislation.
- The role is accountable for the smooth running of the shift, remaining calm under pressure and working with the Rail Supervisor 1 / site management team to develop processes and practices to improve the terminal operation including day to day staff supervisory tasks.
