Purpose of the Role
Responsible for winning new business and achieving volume and revenue targets by building a strong pipeline of prospects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan that exceeds volume and revenue budgets.
- Proactively generate a new business pipeline to secure sufficient active prospects for the financial year.
- Follow and refine the new business sales process to improve win‑rate.
- Ensure all pricing is profitable and maximised, working with the commercial team for clear pricing visibility.
- Identify market demand gaps and liaise with the commercial team to address them.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and produce KPIs to measure effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Communicate new business prospects to operations for capacity assessment.
- Represent Freightliner at relevant external events.
