- What You’ll Do
- Oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of IT support services for the business.
- Run a 24/7, 365‑day service, controlling escalation and completion of technical issues and ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
- Control, manage, and improve end user experience.
- Provide leadership and operational management to the IT support team, developing team members and processes to improve the service offering.
- Lead end‑to‑end IT support and resolution processes, ensuring high levels of customer service to the business.
- Manage and develop the IT support team, support processes and the on‑call rota.
- Serve as a member of the IT leadership team, coordinating and improving services.
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures where applicable, ensuring legal compliance of IT‑related regulations.
- Liaise with and coordinate internal teams and third parties to resolve issues.
- Identify, investigate and introduce new technologies to improve productivity and security.
- Provide strategic accountability for a legally compliant health, safety and environmental management system.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with skills, scope and time available.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft System Stack including Office365, Windows operating systems, Windows Server and Intune.
- Experience managing i OS mobile devices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with staff at all levels, key customers and suppliers.
- Strong multitasking ability, comfortable working under pressure and prioritising workload.
- Able to articulate technical information to non‑technical staff.
- Understanding of the wider IT arena beyond individual specialisation.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to plan and manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Experience in technical authoring.
- Willingness to travel.
