We operate 95 locomotives and over 1,000 wagons, supporting customer deliveries to over 100 locations across the UK and running 250 trains per week.
We are recruiting a qualified Train Driver to join our team at our Suffolk depot.
What You’ll Do
Working within the IT Helpdesk team, you will provide first‑ and second‑line support to the business covering a wide range of products and hardware.
You will enable the business to perform at full level, empowering others to succeed.
- First point of contact for IT support within the organisation.
- Answer and resolve service requests.
- Escalate service requests to the appropriate levels and assure completion.
- Install, configure, and maintain applications, operating systems, and hardware components of computer and network systems.
- Administer Active Directory within scope.
- Daily checks and assessments of systems.
- Control and management of backup processes.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation.
- Participate in projects when required.
- Participate in the on‑call rota.
- Improve the end user experience.
- Occasional travel to sites.
- Implement and adhere to IT and general company policies.
- Any other duties commensurate with skills, scope, and time available.
- What We’re Looking For
- MS Office 365 installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of network topologies and technologies.
- Experience with Windows PC operating systems and PC hardware technologies.
- Active Directory experience.
- Mobile technology familiarity.
- Good communication skills.
- High levels of customer service.
- Attention to detail.
