Our client is one of the leading providers of overnight delivery serving the UK and Ireland market. Their freight hubs are strategically located both in the UK and Ireland to provide express road freight next day delivery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner working within the rapidly expanding Irish department. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day management of the transport desk
- Full responsibility of cost and return for fleet of vehicles
- Load planning
- Processing bookings
- 3rd party logistics
- Customer service
- General admin duties
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm.
The successful candidate must have experience from a UK and/or European Road Freight background, preferably with experience within the Irish marketplace. You must have excellent communication skills and a good level of competence in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 Basic (Dependent upon experience).
