This is a full-time, office-based role for an experienced Trailer Freight Groupage Clerk located just outside of Leeds City Centre.
Responsibilities- Main responsibilities include quoting, coordinating and managing the groupage (consolidated) shipments by road, ensuring cost-efficient transport solutions, on-time delivery, and full compliance with legal, customs, and company requirements.
- The role ensures the effective planning, consolidation, and dispatch of groupage cargo while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational control.
- 2-3 years of experience in road freight forwarding, preferably in groupage operations.
- Strong knowledge of European transport networks and groupage processes.
- Understanding of customs procedures, Incoterms, and ADR requirements.
- Proficiency in TMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary Β£30,000 to Β£35,000
- 20 days holidays to start plus 2 additional days between Christmas and New Year (plus bank holidays)
