Our client is a leading independent Trailer Freight Forwarder now looking for a European Route Freight Manager to join their growing team in Manchester to oversee and develop the Iberian Road freight route.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Quoting, filling and planning trailers
  • Working closely with overseas agents in Spain and Portugal

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A commercially driven mindset
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in road freight forwarding movements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving

The role offers:

  • Basic salary of £35,000-£40,000
  • Bonus scheme
  • Private healthcare scheme
  • Pension scheme
  • Salary sacrifice car scheme
  • 24 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays (additional 2 days after 5 years' service and a further 2 days after 10 years, capped at 28 days)
  • 37.5 hours per week
