Our client is a leading independent Trailer Freight Forwarder now looking for a European Route Freight Manager to join their growing team in Manchester to oversee and develop the Iberian Road freight route.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quoting, filling and planning trailers
- Working closely with overseas agents in Spain and Portugal
We are looking for candidates with:
- A commercially driven mindset
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in road freight forwarding movements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving
The role offers:
- Basic salary of £35,000-£40,000
- Bonus scheme
- Private healthcare scheme

- Salary sacrifice car scheme
- 24 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays (additional 2 days after 5 years' service and a further 2 days after 10 years, capped at 28 days)
