Our client is a leading independent Freight Forwarder now looking for a Stock Control and Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, utilise WMS for picking and inventory.
- Order Management: Process purchase orders, manage customer details, and track shipments and deliveries.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and schedule transportation of goods, manage shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers and negotiate beneficial deals for transport and services.
- Client Relations: Liaise with Clients and build strong relationships.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Access Delta / Clarus), data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Soft Skills:
- Organisation: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal teams and external vendors.
