Our client is a well-established independent freight forwarder and import customs broker.
With an established solid and varied client base they can handle the safe transportation of goods, whether that is via air, sea or road freight worldwide at highly competitive prices.
Now due to expansion they are recruiting at their Manchester office which is based at Manchester Airport for an experienced Sea Freight Forwarding Clerk.
Handling both exports and imports but in the main a sea exports role.
Your role will involve handling the full sea freight cycle.
Taking sea freight exports and Import bookings.
Completing all ocean documentation, including MBL/HBL/Shipping instructions etc...
You will be conversant with export entry requirements via CHIEF/CDS and HMRC procedures.
MS word, outlook, excel.
You will be confident in one-to-one conversation and liaising/negotiating with shipping lines and overseas partners
To be considered for this opportunity you will have previous experience within Sea Freight Forwarding gained from working for freight forwarder with excellent communication skills, a flexible approach with the ability to develop effective relationships across all levels.

- Salary: Negotiable Between £29k and £35k depending on experience this could be more and flexible for the right candidate
