Due to expansion and development, we are now recruiting for a Sales Executive within the Freight and Shipping industry to work from the Poynton, Cheshire office covering. This is an externally based sales position covering the North West
You will be joining a well-established company with over 25 years\’ global experience, operating out of 13 countries.
Main Duties
– Generating and converting sales leads in the Freight Forwarding, ecommerce and International Express and Domestic Parcels and Pallet industry
– With an internal database to work from as well as self-generated leads and prospects using your own market knowledge and experience
– Liasing with existing and lapsed customers in order to gain more business
– Using a CRM database, so ensuring the database is up to date with all calls/prospects/data logged
Person specification
– Previous sales experience from within a Freight Forwarding, International or UK parcels, e-commerce, Sameday, transport, pallet and logistics industry is essential
– Sales driven, customer focused, hardworking, tenacious, target driven and a team player
– Able to source new business and retain
– Excellent communication skills
– IT Literate
