We are now recruiting a Multi Modal Freight Forwarding Operations Executive for our well-established freight forwarding client with offices based near Manchester Airport. Now due to expansion they are looking to add to the Freight Forwarding Operations team based in the MIOC building This is a great opportunity to join a privately held freight forwarding business. They have the vision and passion of any major blue-chip business but are a privately-owned freight forwarder. Providing multimodal logistics solutions to a wide range of industries across the globe. They are global business and offer a great team working environment Responsibilities * You will be dealing with all aspects of ocean and air freight forwarding Exports and Imports movements from start to finish * Completing associated documents in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments. * You will be required to deal with all ocean and air import and export documentation with an emphasis on sea freight * Liaise with shipping lines / Airlines to organise transportation * Liaison with overseas agents with regards to the Bookings. Person Specification * Experience of Freight Exports and Imports, ideally multimodal but a good understanding of Ocean freight is essential * A strong team player capable of working as an individual or in a team environment * Excellent Freight Forwarding Skills Benefits * Salary £32,000 to £38,000 circa dependent upon experience * 24 days holiday a year plus bank holidays * Pension * Excellent training and career opportunities * Opportunity for Hybrid working 1 day a week after probationary period
