Our client is a well-established International multi modal Freight Forwarder offering a global freight service in all modes including Sea freight Trailer freight and Air Freight.
Based in Earl Shilton in Leicester with modern office facilities and free parking, and due to expansion on the European Trailer Division the office of 60 staff is now looking for experienced Trailer Operator who are used to operating a 3rd party groupage and full load service.
Main Responsibilities
You will take bookings, supply quotations, complete relevant documentation, input details onto system, source hauliers, negotiate rates, organise collections and deliveries and invoice out.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers, conducting customer visits, booking shipments, supporting with client reporting and P&Ls
We are looking for candidates with a a background gained in European road freight working for a freight forwarder, strong customer service skills and a sound understanding of the financial side of operations
