Our client is a well-established international freight forwarder looking for a Senior European Road Freight Operator to join the Road Freight Export division. For over 150 years, my client has been handling export and import shipping requirements throughout Europe and Worldwide. Their reputation is based on their caring, customer-focused service and competitive pricing.

Your role will be to handle all aspects of the road freight exports cycle including:

  • Planning the efficient cost-effective loading of export trailers.
  • Dealing with clients on the telephone and email.
  • Quoting for prospective business.
  • Liaising with customers, hauliers and overseas agents.

In order to apply you must have:

  • Freight forwarding experience gained in Trailer Freight/Road Freight/TIR freight.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good standard of education.
  • A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a thriving team.
  • A wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR.
  • Raising EAD's, T forms, IDR documents for exports.

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary Circa £32,000 - £35,000 Dependant on experience.
  • Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30 pm / 1 hour for lunch.
  • Pension.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Annual Bonus Scheme based on company overall performance.
