We are now recruiting for an Air Freight Clerk based in Bradford. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and processing air freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, accurate documentation, and timely release of cargo while providing excellent customer service to clients, airlines, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate air freight shipments both imports and exports
- Prepare, review, and process import and export documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs entries
- Liaise with customs brokers, airlines, ground handlers to ensure smooth movements
- Track and monitor shipments, providing status updates to customers
- Handle customer enquiries and provide high-quality customer service
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in air freight imports and exports
- Knowledge of air freight documentation and import and export procedures
- Familiarity with customs regulations and clearance processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Β£30,000 circa Dependant on experience / willing to discuss.
- Hours: 9am - 5.30 pm (1 hour lunch break) Monday - Friday.
