Our client is a well‐established independent freight forwarder and supply chain organisation, offering a full range of logistics and BRCGS certificated warehousing services to clients globally. We now have an exciting opportunity for a BDM to join the team selling a full logistical service with a bias towards 3PL & Warehousing services nationwide.
You will be responsible for driving new business growth by acquiring and developing customers requiring third‐party logistics (3PL), warehousing, and value‐added logistics solutions. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering customised supply chain solutions that align with customer needs and company capabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Identify, target, and acquire new customers for 3PL, warehousing, distribution, and value‐added services
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs
- Proven track record in business development or sales experience in 3PL, multi‐client warehousing, logistics, or supply chain solutions
- Proven track record of closing new business and meeting revenue targets
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, transportation, and supply chain solutions
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Existing industry contacts or customer network
