Our client, a global leader in Freight Forwarding is now recruiting for an Air Freight Imports Clerk based at Trafford Park Joining the Air Freight Import team, handling the day-to-day processing of Imports documents, costing and billing activities for accounts. Main responsibilities include Arranging collections and deliveries: Organising the transportation of goods from the origin to the final destination. Handling invoices and payments:Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment for services. Resolving discrepancies and delays:Investigating and resolving any issues or delays that may occur during the import process. Providing customer service:Keeping customers informed about the status of their shipments and addressing any inquiries, and prepare quotations to clients as and when necessary Working with customs systems:Demonstrating a good working knowledge of ASM / Seqouia systems Preparing accurate and compliant Customs entries. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Air Freight Imports * Computer Literate * Good telephone and administration skills.
